Meet the owner: Alina Al-Abdallah
Alina Abdallah is the heart and soul behind this little book haven. Alina has always believed that books are more than just paper and ink; to her, they are windows to other worlds, voices of the past, and companions during the quietest moments of life. She has always enjoyed being around books and spending her time reading. What started as a simple hobby slowly became a deep interest and then a true passion.
Alina studied English Literature, where her love for books deepened even more. She spent her university years analyzing classic novels, discovering modern voices, and learning how powerful storytelling truly is.
Over time, she realized that not everyone had access to the same kind of space for reading, reflection, and imagination. In a city that is full of life but lacks true libraries and book-centered community spaces, Alina felt something was missing… She wanted to create a place where stories could live and where people could reconnect with the joy of reading. That single belief is the reason this space was born!!
This place is not just a shop or a corner filled with shelves, but also Alina’s dream made real. Her passion is simple but powerful. It is to bring people closer to books, and through books, closer to themselves.
Whether you are a lifetime reader or just beginning your journey, she wants this space to feel like home.
“I can never read all the books I want, I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want.“
– Sylvia Plath
